Dr. Lauren and Dr. Avolio, the only two DACBSP certified chiropractors in Southwest Florida, lead our team. Their specialized training and dedication to comprehensive care ensure that we deliver the highest quality of personalized treatments. Before Your Appointment
- We kindly request that you complete the paperwork sent to you via email prior to your appointment. This will facilitate our process of verifying your benefits. However, we also recommend that you verify your own benefits for complete understanding.
- Should you find it difficult to complete the paperwork ahead of time, please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow for this additional step.
- To facilitate an effective examination or treatment, we advise you to wear or bring along attire that’s comfortable and provides easy access to any area of injury or discomfort.
Insurance And Payment Information
At Innovative Pain and Performance, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. We understand that financial considerations are a part of choosing your healthcare provider, and we strive to ease this process for you.
We maintain a flexible pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our clinic accepts personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We are preferred providers for Florida Blue and several other health insurance companies, and we’re happy to provide courtesy billing for our patients. In cases of auto accident injuries or workers’ compensation, we direct bill your insurance provider.
For those with little or no health insurance coverage, we can arrange flexible payment programs to ensure you receive the care you need.

What To Expect At Your First Appointment
Detailed Medical History
We will ask a series of questions about your medical history and get to know you and your goals better.
In-Depth Exams
We will then go through a physical exam, orthopedic exam and then detailed injury-specific exams.
Personal Plan Options
Based upon our findings we will go over options on a personalized plan just for you! (For the best possible treatment, we may need to get additional imaging done.)
First Treatment
Once you have chosen your treatment options we will then proceed with the first treatment – all in the same appointment!
